Coconut Date Energy Balls

This Recipe is super easy, fast and, of course, healthy and detoxing!

I usually estimate the ingredient amounts, and the more you make them the more you’ll realize an exact measurement is not necessary.

 

About:

2 tbsp of ground flax seed

2 tbsp hemp seed

1 handful of raw almonds

1 tsp of maca powder

2 tbsp sunflower seeds

2 heaping tbsp of favorite nut butter (without added sugar)

3-4 tbsp of maple syrup/honey (if not vegan)

8-10 pitted dates

1 bowl of finely shredded coconut for coating

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp pink sea salt

 

Directions:

  1. Blend all nuts, seeds, and spices in food processor until completely ground.
  2. Add dates in and blend until fully ground.
  3. Add in syrup and nut butter.
  4. When the consistency comes out right, roll into tsp sized balls and roll in coconut to coat the outside.
  5.  Store in fridge on parchment paper. Serve chilled!
